Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Work at the forefront of designing an innovative vulnerability management solution for both on premise and cloud solutions. Utilize knowledge of cloud to create Vulnerability Management (VM) Solutions for identified gaps and security risks in the cloud. Perform VM product proof of concept per defined requirements. Design and implement security solutions globally for VM scanning infrastructure on premise and in public cloud. Collaborate with various internal IT teams to understand VM needs and collectively develop risk remediation and mitigation strategies. Contribute to VM strategy and support vulnerability scanning data processing automation efforts. Deliver findings, recommendations, and remediation steps for all vulnerability findings. Build information security as a core competency throughout our relationships with our internal teams/partners/vendor; this includes providing education and training to the organization. Establish regular reporting mechanisms for measuring compliance and performance of Management projects.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cyber Security, or a field related to the financial industry such as Business Administration, Business or Finance and Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cyber Security, or a field related to the financial industry such as Business Administration, Business or Finance and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience (if Master's) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor's) with: use of VM specialized tools such as Qualys, Rapid7 or Palo Alto Prisma; leveraging Linux or Windows Operating Systems to appropriately inform and advise management on high and critical vulnerabilities detected by the sensors; gathering data from various sources and using that data to understand the risk posture within an environment; setting up continuous integration, delivery, and deployment techniques; writing programs in programing languages such as Python to setup infrastructure as code for vulnerability management tools; public clouds including AWS and GCP; and triaging SIEM platform to support detection engineers for Vulnerability related alerts.
