Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Work across all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, coding, and testing, and deployment to meet the requirements provided by regulatory operation users. Develop and support software using Java, SQL, Web services, Unix Shell Script to meet the Firm's non-financial regulatory obligations. Provide ad-hoc production support to resolve system issues. Build RESTful web services using Java, Spring Boot and Micro Services architecture to meet business requirements. Work with multiple teams in Engineering and Operations to develop solution designs. Prepare project plans and actively track and provide status on ongoing work streams. Follow best practices in test-driven development using JUnit and in-memory databases. Package and deploy code using the firm's build and release management processes.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related software development role. Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience with: building rich JavaScript web user interfaces using frameworks including AngularJS or ReactJS; programming in a major programming language including Java, C#, or JavaScript; consuming RESTful web services from user interfaces (UI) using AJAX or AJAX libraries; building RESTful web services that consume and serve data using JSON or other Financial Product Markup Language; working across all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, unit and integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and maintenance; and writing UI and server-side unit tests.
