Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Develop systems for management of real estate investment lifecycle activities. Work closely with a team of software developers, architects, data analysts on initiatives for our various data and process automation systems and platforms with emphasis on automation and increasing business efficiency and focusing on entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). As a member of a global cross functional team, collaborate with others to address various business's needs by studying information necessities, conferring with Stakeholders and Business users, studying systems flow, data usage, and understanding the Lifecycle of Assets. Analyze and recognize repeating patterns in Business and in Technology and model and create generic solutions and processes to maximize reusability and ensuring consistent and lean data and process models while also being scalable. Perform first level troubleshooting of issues and perform periodic tasks required for ongoing functioning and optimal performance of systems. Drive product releases including establishing project plans, Change and Release Management and reporting on team milestones and deliverables. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers in software development best practices.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Computational Finance or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Computational Finance or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years: working with Java to implement business logic in an object-oriented manner; storing and updating business data using SQL programming over relational databases such as Oracle or SQLServer; writing automated tests to ensure correct behavior of enterprise applications using Junit; and developing Restful Webservices to expose business logic to relevant systems in a secure manner.
