Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, Texas. Participate in the end-to-end system development life cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of financial applications. Design, develop, test, and maintain technology applications. Work closely with User Interface (UI) designers to understand the behavior of the software interface and come up with the technical design to implement. Assist in writing and managing software primarily to support UI features, including creation of unit tests and test automation. Contribute to the development of web UI leveraging technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ReactJS, Redux, and GraphQL. Work with object-oriented and distributed Java web applications using frameworks like Spring Boot to build and manage large scale RESTful APIs. Use engineering practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment to manage test automation and deploy code to various environments. Test in an integration testing environment for on-going software releases. Work in a Linux environment and make use of Splunk to provide support for production servers and systems. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies, but no prior knowledge of proprietary technologies required.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with: utilizing web technologies User Interface development with HTML and Javascript; designing and developing micro-services using REST and GraphQL; creating applications on modern infrastructure including MongoDB, Kafka, containerization, and AWS; using lightweight data-interchange formats including JavaScript Object Notation (JSON); working through the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; and programming in the Linux environment.
