Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Develop and maintain Research Content Management Systems that host all research and relevant content for the Firm. Analyze, enhance, and maintain modern full-stack applications using web and Java technologies, relational databases, and unstructured data in Lucene. Analyze, enhance, and maintain a complex Content Management System that hosts all research and relevant content for the Firm. Utilize Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager to build digital platforms that can scale to support highly curated systems for serving content. Work through all the stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including providing work estimates and raising critical project issues, such as technical and project risks. Formulate, design, and implement requirements in the system following coding best practices and utilizing object-oriented programming and design patterns concepts. Engage in test-driven development, using Junit, Cucumber, and Selenium and utilize external testing tools including DataDog synthetics. Work with cloud native technologies, with a special focus on Amazon Web Services stack, which includes S3, EC2, ECS, API Gateway and Lambda. Leverage messaging infrastructure including Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS. Partner with functional business leads to understand requirements and communicate technical concepts. Work on a global software development team and communicate status and design effectively across multiple regions. Build and release management using Gradle scripts.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field including Engineering disciplines, such as Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with: web development using AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, or JQuery; utilizing Java, including multi-threading, JDBC, Reflections, Generics, or Collections Framework; relational databases such as Dynamo, Sybase, or SQL; all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, user acceptance testing, release procedures, and production support; conducting test driven development with experience in test frameworks including Junit or Jasmine; and performing shell scripting and working in a Linux environment.
