Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida. Utilize best-in-class principles regarding alternative investment fund launches and reporting to drive the agile product development process and help prioritize the product backlog to deliver a first-in-class alternatives experience for clients, Goldman Sachs advisors, wealth management professionals, operations users, and the firm's alternative capital markets business. Leverage deep understanding of alternative investment user experience needs to drive the delivery process by writing and reviewing user stories, providing direction during engineering grooming calls, testing acceptance criteria, and supporting key agile ceremonies. Harness existing understanding and knowledge of the alternatives competitive landscape to benchmark internal processes and products against industry standards. Partner with design, engineering, operations, legal, and compliance to build an efficient, intuitive, and engaging product for business users and clients. Understand, document, and improve existing alternative investments operational processes to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments. Build and leverage metrics and KPI's to measure success. Synthesize information from the business, operations, legal, and compliance across global regions (United States, EMEA, Asia) about the processes and data required from a regulatory, operational, and business perspective to offer services. Be a mentor to junior product managers by providing support and help to develop their skills in product management.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with the following: working in a financial investment services, wealth management, or product management role; fund launch, investment, and post-investment procedural best practices and process and efficiency optimization; alternative investment documentation digitization across subscription, transfer, and redemption use cases within a fund's life cycle; handling alternative investment legal and compliance considerations and requirements from a global perspective; driving the product development process, including: tooling using Jira and Confluence, agile scrum ceremonies, and testing across various developer environments and lifecycles; Alternative Investment Lifecycle Process Mapping; Alternative Investment Documentation Digitization Requirements; Alternative Investment Data Model Definition; Journey or Experience Mapping and Jobs-to-be-Done; Ecosystem Mapping; Story Writing and Grooming; and User Acceptance Testing.
