Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Multiple positions available. Holistic ownership and understanding of alternative operations by coordinating issues across all operations teams and business partners. Serve a robust portfolio and conduct daily exception monitoring, cash management and break resolution. Maintain a portfolio of multiple agented and non-agented loans within a specialized debt product offering. Resolve transactional issues and collaborate on process and product enhancements. Control both the Firm's and clients' accounts related to cash, trading, clearance, and portfolios to generate daily reporting using complex excel models to determine the appropriate investments and redemptions for any excess and short balances in the accounts. Perform root cause and trend analysis on suspense and position breaks to determine remediation steps. Lead projects for system or process improvements, including organizing and analyzing large amounts of data in Excel from various sources. Help to ensure that the Firm has the appropriate infrastructure with respect to technology, processes, and controls to support complex financial transactions such that we meet our clients' needs as well as internal control standards and external regulatory requirements. Review legal documents, client invoices, and risk reports and will perform manual interest rate, amortization, and pro rate allocation calculations. Responsible for the process, confirmation, control and settlement of the Firm's and the Firm's clients' transactions to a high-quality standard. Work with investors across multiple funds to identify and release any monthly, quarterly, or annual gains on their investments or portfolio of investments. Assist in providing operational risk management and oversight for the Firm's trading and sales businesses, while ensuring the integrity of the Firm's books and records through the development of workflows, systems, and controls, from trade capture to settlement. Provide trading desk support to include ad-hoc queries as well as ongoing business initiatives.

Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field such as Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: working with financial products, including experience with one or more of the following: private equity, loans, or other alternative investments; navigating new financial products that are introduced to the market and assisting senior management in initiatives on new instruments to be traded in the future; coordinating issue resolution across multiple stakeholder groups; and utilizing Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint including formulas and functions including Vlookup, Index, Match and Pivot tables and Office shortcuts to perform tasks efficiently.
