Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, Texas. Remote work permitted two (2) days per week within commuting distance of Richardson, TX. Analytics role focused around helping our operations team fulfill the operational goals using data generated by operations teams. The role is a key connection of non-technical operational leadership roles to technical data teams and translating the business objective into data requirements and standard reporting. Meet with the operations teams regularly to understand operational goals and how they are measured. Take metrics and translate them to tactical defined key performance indicators (KPIs) that we can work with data engineering to develop available data streams to produce the KPIs. Once baseline KPIs are created, use data to tell operations of overall trends and performance. With this data the operation can ask for additional analysis from this role to help plan operational changes and track the progress of those changes.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analysis, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with the following: SQL coding to be able from raw data tables to refined business analytic views; tableau Dashboard Creation; working on an operational team and system to turn into data requirements for data engineering and reporting requests; data flow troubleshooting; and communicating deadlines, blockers, timelines, and tradeoffs of projects to operational teams to help manage expectations and assist in business decisions and stakeholder management. Prior experience must include one (1) year with the following: reviewing key performance indicators surrounding operational call centers to drive results based on data and reporting.
