Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Multiple Positions Available. Contribute to the development, support, maintenance and testing of software solutions in support of the Firm's different wealth businesses with a specific focus in asset transfer functions such as payment processing, first party and third-party account transfers of cash and security assets. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle including gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing and supporting software solutions. Provide ongoing maintenance and support of production applications. Participate in software design discussions, department-wide initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related software development role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related software development role. Prior experience must include one (1) year (with Master's) or three (3) years (with Bachelor's) with: full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing and supporting software solutions; utilizing one or more object-oriented programming languages, such as Java or Python to develop software; working with SQL database query languages such as Sybase, DB2, or Oracle; working with cross-functional stakeholders in a global enterprise environment; working with real-time or batch data processing; and working in a Linux environment.
