Associate Account Development Executive
Job Description
The Asscoiate Account Development Executive wins new DMS business from a small portfolio of automotive dealership accounts by building business relationships through face-to-face sales contacts such as dealership visits and other prospecting activities.
The AADE also works in conjunction with Senior ADEs participating in sales cycles with large opportunities. Although the primary goals include achieving assigned sales plans, i.e Sites, Quota and/or sticks, this role is comprised of "apprentice-like" job responsibilities and functions, in order to achieve the knowledge necessary to quickly earn the potential for further career opportunities such as an Account Development Executive. (ADE).
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
- Develop target account pipeline. Identify, and work opportunities contained within portfolio of accounts.
- Create a disciplined and process-oriented approach to help Generate revenue.
- Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process.
- Focus on consultative relationship with the client by developing an understanding of their unique business needs and challenges.
- Develop understanding of specific CDK products and their functionality.
- Work to understand & navigate CDK's Culture, internal network of resources, tools, and processes.
- Gain an understanding of the industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and portfolio of accounts.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Demonstrated ability to build business relationships.
- Ability to manage a sales process.
- Process driven but flexible enough to adapt processes as required.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop account plans, work opportunities, and close business.
- Knowledge of automotive retail processes and products.
- Level of comfort with digital technology solutions.
- Experience utilizing CRM.
- Willing/Able to travel 50% to 75%.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of automotive retail industry and / or CDK knowledge/experience.
- Influential relationship builder.
- Considerable time management skills.
- Initiative and initiative-taker.
- Willing to relocate if the opportunity presents itself.
Education/Experience
- Some College
- Business to Business sales experience, preferably 6 + months.
Salary = $70,000 + Commissions + Benefits
