The RAPP team in Chicago is an integral part of Team DDB, am integrated agency team created by Omnicom to develop and deliver state-of-the-art marketing solutions geared towards recruiting best-in-class candidates for the US Army. We are building a modernized platform to target, attract, manage and nurture prospects interested in joining the US Army via state-of-the-art customer experiences, as well as bolster the strength of the mission critical organization protecting our borders. We’re building and configuring marketing technology and communications to drive personalization across the entire recruitment journey.

YOUR ROLE:

As the Associate Account Director for Marketing Operations you will be responsible for supporting the management of platform capabilities and features geared towards lead capture and nurture activities for the US Army. You will work closely with the Senior Director, VP and other members of the team ad well as collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, and partner with other functional teams to develop and manage processes for lead handling, campaign attribution, contact center, SMS and other business needs as necessary.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage client expectations, objectives, timelines, and budgets, if applicable.
  • Partner with client(s), strategists and functional leads to understand business goals.
  • Coordinate team meetings and client presentations as necessary to drive projects forward.
  • Ensure RAPP and integrated agency teams are aligned and working against shared goals.
  • Facilitate the development of project briefs, working with strategic planners and analysts.
  • Collaborate with strategy and marketing sciences to develop in-depth business reporting and comprehensive results-oriented advertising/marketing analyses.
  • Be a liaison to multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure integration across the business monitoring, projecting and providing innovative solutions to marketing issues.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive the development of marketing programs and campaigns across relevant channels, offline and online.
  • Support the development of tools and processes for efficient and effective management of leads data through the recruiting funnel to ensure accurate tracking of marketing efforts.
  • Be the knowledge hub for US Army’s marketing operations and associated systems.
  • Partner closely with the contact center vendor to ensure compliance and training of agents against client’s business goals and brand standards.
  • Develop and manage onboarding of new team members on relevant systems in compliance with established processes (including training, background checks etc.)
  • Manage support and training of RAPP, agency partners as well as clients on systems.
  • Lead efforts as needed to support client’s systems and processes for lead management.
  • Partner closely with a high-performing team of system experts and operational specialists to develop, manage and continually improve systems/processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8+ years of account management or client partner experience.
  • Direct marketing and digital marketing or CRM background a plus.
  • Experience working with the Salesforce suite of products a huge plus.
  • Demonstrated client experience and ability to navigate complex client organizations.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity at times (both with clients and internally) be able to demonstrate flexibility and creative problem solving.
  • Very experienced in presenting information both orally and in writing with excellent interpersonal, presentation and written skills.
  • Positive attitude and sound work ethic with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creative problem solving.
  • Understanding of account profitability, client satisfaction, and client retention.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively within a team that is geographically dispersed.
  • Knowledge of US Army systems and processes for leads management a huge plus.
  • Experience managing supporting tools and training for US Army systems and processes.
  • A good understanding of the Army marketing organization and client partners.
  • Understanding and appreciation for data accuracy and governance processes.
  • Understanding of systems and tools for lead handling and management.
  • Understanding and appreciation for process flows, systems diagrams for education.
  • Proven ability in collaborating with peers on a multi-disciplinary team and delivering reliable processes and systems for capturing and managing leads data.
  • Experience prioritizing multiple demands and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders. 
  • Proven track record of working with senior client stakeholders and diverse teams.
