Associate Account Executive, Sales (Chicago)

We are looking for an Associate AE to join our sales team. This position is perfect for recent college graduates looking to break into the ad tech industry. This is an opportunity to work side-by-side with the sales team to gain first-hand experience in ad tech, digital media, and sales. This role will have exposure to clients on day one, will gain hands-on experience managing their own mini book of business, and will partner with a senior seller to receive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include

• Shadow sellers by joining their client calls and meetings, drafting emails, and developing custom strategies to engage targeted accounts
• Read industry news to compile relevant intelligence for sellers, including account wins/losses, upcoming product launches, or insight that will help the sales team refine their strategies
• Manage an initial book of business, including developing and maintaining a sales prospect database in Salesforce, initiating and developing relationships, and pitching business across assigned media agencies
• Support the sales team with client entertainment, event coordination, meeting preparation, gifting, and other duties

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background
• Relevant internship and/or work experience preferred
