As an Associate Account Manager at BDA, you will work in conjunction with other members of a key account team to play an integral role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Your primary focus will be on understanding clients’ needs and objectives, recommending suitable merchandise solutions and programs, and ensuring the successful execution and on-time delivery of projects. You will collaborate with various internal teams to meet customer expectations and contribute to the overall growth and success of BDA while meeting your clients’ needs.

The role of an Associate Account Manager at BDA is dynamic and customer-focused. Success in this position requires a combination of sales acumen, customer service, relationship building, creativity, project management, product knowledge, organization and the ability to consistently deliver excellent experiences to clients. By fostering strong relationships and providing valuable promotional solutions, the Associate Account Manager significantly contributes to the growth and success of BDA and the clients’ marketing and branding goals.

Preference will be given to candidates in the following locations: Troy, MI, Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA

Duties and Tasks

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients
  • Act as point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Advise clients on the most suitable merchandise solutions that align with their marketing goals and brand image.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and best practices to provide informed recommendations
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for clients based on their requirements
  • Facilitate the order process from ideation through delivery, ensuring all details are accurately recorded and communicated to internal teams.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross functional teams (design, logistics, purchasing etc) to deliver on spec and on time.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues to ensure a high level of customer retention.
  • Conduct post-order follow ups to gather feedback and assess the success of the promotional project/program
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to BDA’s revenue growth while working within assigned budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage contact and opportunity database and execute strategic account plans
  • Exude high levels of professionalism when interacting with clients, internal partners and external vendors and agencies

Experience Requirements

  • 1-2+ years proven experience in sales support, sales, account management, or a customer facing role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client relationships
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools for sales and order management. (Salesforce preferred)
  • Promotional merchandise experience preferred but not required

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $74,000K. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
