Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Associate Accountant. This position is responsible for various tasks within Accounts Payable including, but not limited to, processing and coding invoices, researching outstanding payments, assisting with the month-end close process, and additional duties as necessary.

This position is a 37.5 hour work week Monday through Friday between the core hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compiling and reviewing amounts owed to vendors, suppliers, or other
  individuals/organizations.
• Research outstanding payments to vendors.
• Reviews and understands the nature of expenses to ensure that invoices are coded
  properly.
• Understands other job tasks in Accounts Payable and assists when necessary.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, policies and procedures within the Company.
• Ability to maintain composure and customer focus when production volume is high.
• Detail oriented and possesses analytical skills.
• May be called upon to handle other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• One to three years' experience
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel in particular.
• Pursuit of advanced degree/professional designations recommended.
