Associate Agency Consultant - Multi-Line Insurance -AZ, CO, IL, MN

About the Role

This is a remote position with some travel required. Position can be located in one of these states (Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, or Minnesota)

The Associate Agency Consultant will deliver segment wide strategies that align with enterprise programs to drive agent and agent staff to have successful agencies, increase revenue, and contribute to long-term, profitable company growth.

The Associate Agency Consultant reports to the Regional Executive in the New Agent Segment.

Job Responsibilities

• Educate and train agents and agent staff on proven, consistent market access, sales, and business acumen practices and techniques designed to build and grow successful agencies.
• Advocate and teach repeatable sales processes to ensure agents and agent staff are fully leveraging enterprise models and resources.
• Train agents and agent staff in the use of best practices related to the application of strategic solutions, such as Student Loan Solutions, DonorsChoose, state teacher retirement systems, appointment setting, technology, and other enterprise-wide programs. 
• Work with new agents one-on-one to establish access, set schools event/workshops, run appointments and close sales.
• With knowledge of the Horace Mann niche market and model understood, interview and assess agent candidates in partnership with both Field Recruiting team and Agency Consultants.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in a successful field or agency experience or completion of Horace Mann's Leadership, Excellence, and Acceleration Program
• Licenses: P&C, L&H
• Demonstrated learning agility, problem solving skills, and able to function with a strong sense of urgency
