Our team is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced Associate AI/ML Engineer to support our customer and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. We enjoy the challenges of human-centered design, security, and scale to create better outcomes for our federal agency partners. We are a remote-first and work completely in the open source.

About the role:

In your role as an Associate AI/ML Engineer, you will collaborate with a cross-functional data team comprising DevSecOps engineers, Product Owners, Software Engineers, and Architects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop machine learning models that are integral to a larger pipeline delivering value to our end customers.

Required Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience
• Practical experience in Machine Learning models and Software Engineering
• A passion for (and track record of) innovation, an interest in exploring and leveraging new data modalities, and working across interdisciplinary teams
• Experience building machine learning pipelines
• Practical programming and scripting skills, ideally in Python (PyTorch, Rdkit, etc.)
• Fast learner, analytical thinker, creative, hands-on, strong communication skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Undergraduate or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or related fields

Highly preferred:

• Publications or GitHub repos showcasing your skills

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance or higher
