As the Associate Analyst, Operations, you will support our new hire onboarding programs and ongoing employee development efforts. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Manage scheduling of new hires in manager-led sessions
- Monitor ramp up metrics and retention rates of new hires
- Administer onboarding surveys and prepare data for analysis
- Communicate with new hires regarding learning opportunities, resources, and schedules
- Support and lead new initiatives set forward by the onboarding team
- Facilitate training sessions from week 1 to end of training
- Schedule new hire curriculum assignments
- Maintain knowledge bases for new hire resources
- Create and distribute communications to new hires and hiring managers
- Provide support to hiring managers who are onboarding new employees
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Adult Learning, or Transportation Management, equivalent related work, or military experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to create tools to collect feedback (surveys, questionnaires, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
- Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues
It'd be great if you also have:
- 1 year of work experience employee onboarding and reporting, including performance improvement and strategy applications
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Cornerstone
- Experience in program/project management
- Capacity to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
