Intro:

Rightpoint Commerce is looking for an inspired, self-starting, motivated Associate Backend Developer with great communication skills and a broad, web-oriented technical skillset. Someone who wants to analyze, solve and build world class solutions. 

Jumpstart Program Overview

Rightpoint’s Jumpstart program is an exceptional professional development program for recent computer science graduates joining the workforce. As part of the 8-12 week accelerated training program, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself with knowledge assessments that will prepare you for real-world client and project scenarios, shadow your new colleagues to understand various roles within Rightpoint’s various teams, obtain platform certifications, and have an assigned mentor to help ease the transition from school-life to Rightpoint-life through thoughtful guidance and structured support.

What You'll Do and The Impact You'll Make:

• Analyze and solve problems
• Install and configure custom web-based applications, E-commerce platforms, as well as CMS platforms
• Apply your expertise in .NET / C#, Java, Python, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript to extend, enhance and build great user experiences
• Gather and understand client requirements as well unit test

What We’d Love to See:

• A good understanding of some of the following: C#, Java, Python, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases: Oracle, SQL, MYSQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Redis
• Experience with cloud services: Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP
• Experience with some of the following frameworks and stacks: .NET, ASP.NET, LAMP
• Experience running local development environments with Docker
• Entry-level knowledge of Git including branching, staging, and committing.
