Associate Backend Engineer (Python) - EG

Gorilla Logic is looking for an Associate Backend Developer with foundational skills in web services and backend development to join an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining our client’s web and/or mobile applications. You’ll work collaboratively with your teammates, demonstrating critical thinking, self-motivation, and enthusiasm to grow as a developer.

Responsibilities

*Collaborate with an Agile team to build, maintain, and optimize client applications.

*Participate in code reviews, testing, and delivery of maintainable code.

*Work with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines.

*Assist in defining, estimating, and working on user stories.

*Communicate effectively in English.

*Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to assigned tasks.

Technical Requirements

*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

*1-2 years of backend development experience with Python.

*Familiarity with modern Python frameworks like Django or Flask.

*Understanding of enterprise patterns such as microservices.

*Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Bonus Skills

*Exposure to MongoDB or time series databases.

*Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.

*Interest in modern architectural modalities like serverless or event-driven design.

*Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.

*Knowledge in Angular.

*Passion for learning about innovative applications, including autonomous systems.
