*Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. This position will be on-site (preference 3x a week).

How You'll Make an Impact

The Associate Brand Manager will drive, deliver and monitor the Canadian Valvoline product portfolio from conception to end-of-life. This role will manage North America OEM Marketing for the Valvoline Brand along with ancillary product categories in the U.S., as well as supporting strategic initiatives to increase the growth and overall profitability and return on investment of the product portfolio. These initiatives will include commercialization of new product innovations, product line maintenance and/or transitions and pricing.

In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Measuring the results of the product portfolio's life cycle (ideation to end-of-life) including supporting new product innovations or extensions; product change communications; providing recommendations to improve targets, brand presence; ensuring products meet Canadian requirements.
  • Analyzing Canadian product costs and recommending ways to improve profitability.
  • Developing product insights to evaluate market effectiveness and improve optimization and go-to-market strategy.
  • Product planning for Canada and NA OEM team to incorporate market/industry research, competitive benchmarking and market pricing, and develop region specific go-to-market approaches.
  • Developing and executing key initiatives that drive growth and plan successes for assigned categories.
  • Closely monitoring and proactively managing performance versus plans across assigned categories, identifying key insights driving business performance.
  • Leveraging consumer insights, brand equities and customer dynamics to create best-in-class consumer communications.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field
  • Minimum of five years' experience in marketing with a focus on CPG
  • Excellent self-starter skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in executing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels
  • The ability to leverage data insights to drive marketing strategies and decision-making
  • Demonstrated past experiences translating objectives into strategies and tactical plans
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player mindset, driven for results
  • Detail orientation with strong project management skills
  • Data and performance focused skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
