Who You Are: As a member of the Nutrabolt brand team, the Assistant Brand Manager will provide support across the company’s 3 brands: C4 Energy, Cellucor and Xtend. Responsibilities will focus across 3 key areas: (1) Go-To-Market Plans: develop & execute brand go-to-market activation plans in support of brand equity campaigns and new product launches, (2) Innovation: initiate & champion innovation ideas through the stage gate process and (3) Business Acumen: budget management & data analysis.
What You're Good At:
- Leading cross-functional teams across the broader marketing team (social, digital, shopper, partnerships, creative, etc.) to develop and execute go-to-market plans on existing brands/products, and for new product launches.
- Ensuring team stays focused on the established vision and goals of the plans and execute seamlessly.
- Effective management of timelines to ensure on-time launch plans.
- Leading innovation initiatives, line extensions and innovation opportunity sizing.
- Partnering with cross functional innovation partners (product development, operations, supply chain, project management, etc.) to ensure optimized innovation projects.
- Be the brand champion in stewarding projects through the stage gate process, in collaboration with key cross functionals.
- Working closely with consumer & category insights teams to identify and understand macrotrends and competitive performance to identify opportunities for growth.
- Making time to get in the market to fully immerse in the category consumer experience to better inform decision making.
- Monitoring competitive trends in the market within category and across broader consumer categories to anticipate challenges and opportunities and how Nutrabolt brands can successfully and pro-actively address.
- In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
- Sales Based Metrics (sales, market share, HH penetration)
- Brand Awareness
- Campaign/Go-To-Market Metrics (reach, impressions, engagement)
What You Contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree required, plus 3-5 years of relevant brand marketing ore related field business experience
- Background in Consumer Goods (CPG) strongly preferred, but not required
- MBA is a plus, but not required, especially if strong real-world experience
- Experience leading projects through a stage gate process, including business case developing.
- Strong analytical foundation with solid understanding of business fundamentals.
- Ability to identify and evaluate key business issues and drivers. Experience successfully interpreting data and trends into actionable insights that grow the business.
- Experience with syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) and effectively manage brand budgets including reporting & reconciliation.
