Founder Shield is seeking an Associate Broker within our Financial Institutions vertical to help manage underwriter relations and quoting processes.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the vertical lead, the Associate Broker will be a critical member of the team at Founder Shield. This person will work directly with underwriters as well as our New Business and Customer Success teams on a regular basis in order to accurately quote client policies.

Other responsibilities include:

• Developing relationships with various insurance carriers
• Understanding client business models and negotiating with underwriters for the best possible quotes
• Updating and improving upon internal information management systems
• Facilitating the policy marketing, quoting, and underwriting process
• Delivering accurate quotes that meet or exceed client requests

About you:

• 1+ years of commercial insurance experience or a degree in finance and/or risk management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated, problem-solver, excited for new challenges
