Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • 1 year of experience with application testing methodologies and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of office productivity tools (e.g., the Microsoft Office suite)
  • Knowledge of communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams and TFS)
  • Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Business Process Model and Notation tools, Microsoft Visio and Excel, and prototyping tools)


Job Summary

The Associate Business Analyst analyzes enterprise and stakeholder needs to design and deliver solutions that meet those needs. They discover, synthesize, and analyze information from various sources (such as technology, documentation, processes and teams) within the enterprise to ensure solutions are meeting the needs of the enterprise and the stakeholders.

They understand the enterprise's goals, analyze needs, underlying issue root causes, define requirements, propose solutions, devise strategies, collaborate with others and drive change.

Responsibilities
  • Understand business problems, find opportunities and offer solutions to stakeholders for process and technology enhancements
  • Document business and technology processes and requirements
  • Write and execute software test plans, detailing software testing objectives, scope and the tasks involved
  • Develop test cases for various types of testing
  • Identify test requirements and criteria from stories and design a test overage plan that ensures deliverables are met
  • Identify improvement and automation opportunities and help implement accordingly
  • Work with IT or business partners to resolve production issues that may arise
