Job Description

The Associate Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and onboarding new vendor relationships for the Vendor Equipment Finance business and managing other duties as assigned which may include taking a leadership role in researching and developing new segment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Works in conjunction with Originations Leader and Marketing to identify potential prospects.
  • Qualifies and communicates with vendor prospects using tools such as phone, email, in person meetings, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and Navigator.
  • Effectively communicates our value proposition to potential vendor prospects to generate interest.
  • Effectively tracks and reports all business development efforts.
  • Drafts vendor presentation decks with Marketing team input and approval.
  • Develops vendor programs, negotiates vendor program agreements, and onboards qualified vendor relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned which may include taking a leadership role in researching and developing new segment opportunities.

  • Minimum 2 years of vendor equipment finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Equipment finance experience in the healthcare and/or industrial sectors preferred
  • Proficient at prospecting and closing new business opportunities
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

~10-20% travel required

Base Pay Range: $61,000/yr. - $101,700/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
