The Associate Business Systems Analyst will serve as a resource for support and ongoing maintenance of Illumina's global SAP system. This role is responsible to provide deep technical knowledge of SAP in order to 1) provide hands-on application support and to 2) partner with lab management teams to support the global equipment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and resolve application issues, engaging additional technical or functional resources as necessary
  • Collaborate deeply with the lab management, engineering, facilities, EHS and finance teams to design application solutions by analyzing business and functional requirements, studying and creatively leveraging standard capabilities
  • Support the equipment lifecycle by leading the execution of various lifecycle tasks (onboarding, move, decommission, master data updates, etc.)
  • Document functional design and configuration specifications
  • Play an active role in operational readiness testing for application systems
  • Assess change impact prior to change deployment
  • Monitor and resolve system integrity issues
  • Analyze problems, diagnose them and find root cause, and then either creating a fix or engages business solutions team to collaboratively design a solution
  • Recreate steps taken by user to locate source problem
  • Proactively analyzes incident records and use data to identify problems
  • Identify and propose approach to increase usability
  • Stay abreast of SAP applications development
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Maintain active communication with various business and technical stakeholders to manage expectations regarding changes to the system and the introduction of new and enhanced functionality

Experience/Education:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree OR 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.

The estimated base salary range for the Associate Business Systems Analyst role based in the United States of America is: $60,500 - $90,700. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
