Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy is looking for a Systems Analyst to support the Billing Solutions team. Employee in this role will leverage critical thinking skills to apply expertise and strategic focus needed to conduct complex analysis for billing related projects. Individual will work closely with all levels of the organization and must ensure the overall commitment to excellence, customer service, and quality that is key to FPL's success.

In this position, you will:

• Develop an understanding of existing FPL systems functionality in the billing field, such as rates and calculations to generate business requirements
• Leverage business analysis skills to work with system development teams on medium and large projects to create or alter bill calculation and billing-related functionality
• Actively seek solutions to business/customer needs and utilize mathematical, statistical, and analytical expertise to suggest innovative solutions.
• Work closely with the operations teammates and business partners to fully understand the user functionality, pain points, and areas of improvement within our applications.

• Robust reporting and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills
• Be open-minded, proactive, a critical analytical thinker, and have a positive can-do attitude in pursuit of needed outcomes.
• Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write queries against large data warehouses (such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, & Microsoft Access) and JCL
• Some experience with SAP/S4, SAP/ECC, or willingness to learn

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
