Associate Cash Application Representative

This role is responsible for the posting of incoming payments from customers, while also ensuring that those payments are posted accurately, efficiently and in keeping with department policies and procedures. Cash handling is vital to operational procedures of the network so that they can continually build their relationships with our customers and increase business opportunities.

Job Description:

• Accurate and Efficient posting of incoming payments by ACH, Wire and Check
• Timely communication both internally and externally
• Work to resolve issues related to Cash Application
• Processing a high volume of transactions each day
• Processing of adjustments related to cash posting discrepancies
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to improve current processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enjoys working in a team environment
• General knowledge of various banking transactions (ACH, Wire Transfer, Check, Credit Card etc.)
• Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to the details
• Is very organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a continuous improvement environment
• Is self-motivated and adapts to change
• Has knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Provides great service to internal and external customers by making a determined effort to resolve problems and keep them from happening
• Positive, professional attitude, and excellent customer service skill
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
