Associate, Cata-Connector

Golin Chicago is looking for a Cata-Connector Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about media relations, program management and brand storytelling. They’re obsessed with details and always raise their hand for new opportunities to learn.

What You’ll Do:

• Support day-to-day team needs for one of the most sought-after teams in the agency
• Stay up to date on the news and emerging trends and keep team members in the know
• Mine for media opportunities tied to what’s trending in culture and conduct outreach
• Develop communications materials including media lists, key messages, press releases, results reports and client correspondence
• Perform research and audits supporting client opportunities
• Manage timelines and deadlines
• Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with all members of a cross-functional team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR/communications, business, or related field
• 1-3 years communications (or related) experience
• Understanding of the earned media landscape
• Passion for storytelling
• Clear and concise writing and editing skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
• A detail-oriented approach to your work
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and client teams at all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge/experience with retail media
• Experience in eCommerce

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations. Salary range: $40,000 - $55,000
