Associate Category Marketing Analyst

Summary
Facilitates the management, publishing, and control of internal and external marketing materials, as a member of the Foodservice Marketing Activation Team. Strong marketing knowledge, project management, critical thinking, and communication skills are all necessary for success in this position. This role coordinates the initiatives and activities of the Foodservice Marketing team and works with Category Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Culinary. Responsible for quarterly pricing publication, association relationships, invoice payments, marketing quality assurance, and other ad hoc projects for the Foodservice Marketing Team.
Position Responsibilities• Coordinate cross functional resources/teams on key initiatives to achieve business objectives.• Manage content for Foodservice communications which may include Sales Wire, Urgent Alerts, Supply Communications, quarterly pricing updates, and any other information pertinent to category marketing• Assist with marketing collateral development and fulfillment.• Key stakeholder in the relationship of our vendors - including agencies, associations, and fulfillment.• Maintain process for regular review and improvement of all marketing collateral.• Assist in the review of platform data and trends to assist in marketing decisions.• Assist with creation of customer presentations including gathering content and supporting sales.• Attend and participate in meetings with Category Marketing, Sales, Finance, Culinary, and other enterprise partners.• Work closely with category, customer marketing, and finance to develop/track annual A&P budgets.• Serve as a subject matter expert on key tools that enable marketing communication or data synchronization (e.g., Sharepoint, The Pantry, Tungsten, GS1, Salsify, SmartLabel).• Utilize and become proficient in sales reporting and trade management systems (e.g., Blacksmith, Tibersoft, Salesforce).
Position Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree required• No experience required. Previous experience in a sales and marketing environment or foodservice is preferred• Project management experience leading cross functional teams preferred• Strong communication skills (both written and oral). • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment • Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment. • Strong organizational and time management skills are critical - must adhere to deadlines, multi-task, have a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritize• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
