TRANSACTION BANKING OPERATIONS

Transaction Banking Operations is part of Transaction Banking within the Investment Banking Division, comprised of below primary functions:

• We enable Sales by providing clients a differentiated experience through their pre-sales and go-live journey, through onboarding, implementation and testing, go live and early stage support
• We provide best in class service to our clients, post go live, across all their business needs, including payments and transactions flows across our global payment rails
• We support the build and development of new Treasury Products, Services and Partnerships, alongside Product, Risk and Engineering teams, by handling all Operational process, procedure and control development

YOUR IMPACT

The Client Onboarding and Implementation team is seeking a technical specialist who will work with clients across all aspects of implementation of treasury products and services - through connectivity, integration, testing, configuration, and go-live. You will leverage your expertise on transaction banking products including market leading ERP and TMS systems, host to host integrations, transaction and reporting message formats (e.g. ISO 20022), and build on it as GS brings new, innovative and relevant solutions to market. This role provides the opportunity to work with multiple clients simultaneously, creating a differentiated client experience, with a direct impact on the business' top line.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL (RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Serve as client consulting business analyst and technical contact, responsible for successful implementation of complex treasury product and services for Transaction Banking clients
• Provide implementation subject matter expertise on TxB products, including domestic and global payments across multiple rails, host to host integration through ERP and TMS systems, file delivery and API integrations, information reporting, deposit and virtual accounts, amongst our expanding product suite
• Be the go to person for systems integrations, API and file connectivity through industry formats
• Build detailed implementation and testing scope documents for client review and sign off
• Oversight team of integration testers, ensuring airtight testing carried out and suitable internal and client sign-offs secured, before moving client to production
• Ensure effective client monitoring and issue triaging during early stage support, before handoff to client services team
• Ensure detailed project planning and tracking on all aspects of client implementation and configuration
• Identify and escalate project risks and use creative problem solving ability to mitigate and resolve
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to stay abreast of new features and product development, continuously learning and expanding coverage across TxB's offerings

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• BA/BS degree
• 3+ years of professional experience, 1+ years in a client implementation role
• Experience in Transaction Banking client implementation function, with a knowledge of treasury products and services such as global and domestic payments, physical and virtual accounts, cash concentration
• Working knowledge of ERP and TMS systems and host to host connectivity mechanisms in the market
• Working knowledge of multiple domestic and international payment rails, industry wide payment and reporting messaging formats such as BAI, CAMT and MT
• Process oriented thinker, with ability to set and follow policies and procedures
• Strong technical project planning skills with ability to drive projects on time and at quality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, who enjoys forging deep relationships with colleagues and clients
