Associate Client Manager, Inside - SLF
Job Description
The Small Law Firm (SLF) High Value Inside Associate Client Manager (HVA CMI) is responsible for customer retention and increasing Westlaw revenue, usage, and market-share in their assigned account territory. The Inside High Value Client Manager leverages expertise in customer relations, practice experience, and product mastery to increase product usage, remove obstacles, and communicate overall product value to top tier customers.
About Role
- Increase customer retention in assigned territory via dynamic customer interactions and strong renewal performance. Effectively meet customer needs and build lasting customer relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Take courses of action or develop client solutions that appropriately consider available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances, and probable consequences.
- Grow assigned revenue by effectively partnering with appropriate Sales Representatives to conduct quality pre-sale demonstrations and developing sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Help guide and execute marketing strategies to increase retention, focusing on customer risk and other intelligence.
- Demonstrates strong negotiation skills by effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in Westlaw and solutions products, pricing, subscription plans, customer workflow, and usability.
- Accurately log and report daily activities via applicable business systems.
- Perform other related duties/special projects as directed by Manager in a timely and accurate manner.
About You
- J.D. or equivalent legal experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in exceeding expectations as a Client Manager and meeting broader strategic objectives during tenure.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially via telephone, required.
- High degree of professionalism required.
- Customer centric focus required.
- Well-developed negotiation skills required.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of Thomson Reuters products, as well as sales policies, procedures, practices, and pricing.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Demonstrates superior CRM knowledge and technical skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to training sessions, meetings and to customer locations
