Associate, Client Operations
Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
Within the Operations & Analytics (โO&Aโ) department, the Client Operations team is responsible for portfolio recordkeeping, data management, performance, and reporting on behalf of our wealth management clients. As a member of the Client Operations team this candidate will participate in all levels of data review and reconciliation to ensure data quality within Addepar as it feeds to multiple systems used by every member of the firm. The role spans a variety of functions necessary to support the business, including client setup and data intake, reconciliation of marketable and alternative data, report creation and maintenance, as well as operational support related to advisor / client inquiries. This role will work cross-functionally across O&A and our Private Client Group teams to enhance our current workflows and systems to support a constantly growing client-base. Strong candidates will be comfortable dynamically shifting their efforts across these functional areas with an enthusiastic spirit towards doing what is needed to help the business grow and evolve.
- Responsible for various client portfolio recordkeeping and reporting functions within Addepar including but not limited to market reference data, custom attributes, valuation, performance, reconciliation, and reporting
- Collaborate across Private Client Advisor teams, O&A and third-party vendors on day-to-day inquiries and support
- Participate in strategic initiatives designed to improve the overall client experience, internal workflows and/or data management across the firm
- Complete additional ad hoc assignments in a timely, accurate and well-communicated manner
Qualifications:
- 0 - 3 years in investment operations, administration and/or client service within the financial services industry. Prior experience in wealth management, RIA or family office is preferred.
- Experience with financial technology and workflows; working knowledge of Addepar is strongly preferred
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, high integrity, and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work independently, build strong cross functional relationships to effectively drive organized, impactful outcomes
- Pro-active and solutions-oriented with an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Bachelorโs degree and a demonstrated track record of academic success
This is a role at our office location in Boston, MA. We operate under a hybrid modelโ3 days in office, 2 days remote.
Effective August 8, 2021, all new employees must be fully vaccinated - proof of vaccination is required.
