Associate Client Success Engineer
Job Description
Lightspeed Systems has been building solutions to help K-12 IT departments keep technology safe and easily managed for twenty years, but we don’t stagnate; our solutions keep getting better. Our growing company is searching for an Associate Client Success Engineer who is passionate about technology and is excited to provide technical assistance and product education to our customers. Your goal will be to help ensure customers get the maximum value out of our solutions; you’ll do this by serving as their technical partner. Â
ABOUT THE ROLE
The following are the essential functions of the position. The list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.
- Help customers be successful with Lightspeed solutions by managing installation, implementation, configuration, training, and assisting with ongoing technical supportÂ
- Work with pre-sale team to understand customers’ environments, challenges, and goals with Lightspeed Systems solutions and develop plan to exceed expectationsÂ
- Understand and be able to explain how our software integrates with the relevant and related tools/systems our client’s useÂ
- Identify opportunities where additional Lightspeed products can meet customers’ needsÂ
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how various products will meet client needsÂ
- Act as liaison between other members of sales team, technical staff and the Development TeamÂ
- Document onboarding and configuration processes for our self-service portalÂ
- Perform other related duties as assignedÂ
ABOUT YOU
 The following knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and key behaviors are preferred or required to perform this job.
- 6 mo - 1 yr implementation or technical support experience
- Strong aptitude for technology required, including knowledge of computer networking and system installationÂ
- Exceptionally strong communications skills. You must possess the ability to communicate well with both internal and external customers, give presentations to small and large groups, and be able to demonstrate software products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationshipsÂ
- Ability to read situations and people and react accordingly
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive attitude with a can-do mentality that enables you to be resourceful and deliver results
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team environmentÂ
