Associate Commission Analyst

Position Summary

The Associate Commission Analyst will assist the commissions team in managing the variable compensation for a global sales team. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving will be required to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual payment cadences are met with accuracy. Compensation structures are updated and modified regularly, so constant learning and adaptation are expected. This position collaborates across multiple departments within Domo including sales, sales operations, and finance. The Associate Commission Analyst is a key role in meeting the demands of a growing sales team and will be required to provide exceptional service to sales representatives and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commissions process as a system administrator for Xactly Incent; 
• Provide commissions payment information to Domo’s payroll team by monthly and quarterly deadlines;
• Provide commission analysis, reporting, and support for the monthly close process;
• Participate in compensation and other ad hoc projects;
• Partner with HR to track new hire and termination data and to track and implement plan modifications;
• Work with sales leaders and representatives regarding compensation inquiries; 
• Review contracts to ensure appropriate compensation is earned; 
• Analyze the effectiveness of compensation programs and provide recommendations for ongoing program enhancements;
• Assist in the development, management, implementation and administration of various compensation programs and incentives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting preferred; 
• Expertise in MS Excel – experience with pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, etc.;
• Experience with commission software, a plus (i.e. Xactly, Obero, Callidus, etc.);
• Experience with SalesForce and NetSuite, a plus;
• Ability to review customer contracts, identify key commissionable components in a timely manner;
• Ability to manage a variety of projects from start to finish and to effectively handle short notice assignments; 
• Results oriented and prefer working in a collaborative environment, while also effectively working independently; 
• Thorough and detail oriented; 
• Ability to meet monthly and quarterly payment deadlines;
• Ability to learn and master new types of software relatively quickly;
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
