Job Description

Associate is INK's entry-level position. Associates play a foundational role in every account, providing research, list management, coverage tracking, media relations, and other accout support activites, while learning and honing their client service and communications skills. They are responsible for learning the media and industry market for their 3-4 assigned accounts, applying that knowledge to their tasks and sharing insights with their teams. They will develop their soft skills like time management, team collaboration, participation in client and team meetings, and how to leverage a variety of tools. They will participate in INK's professional development program and be part of group learning sessions to perfect their craft. They will embody all of INK's values, but particularly exhibiting Energy (go the extra mile for our clients, colleagues, and craft) and Effectiveness (results that matter). As an associate, you will have a dedicated manager to help you set and reach your goals and coach you through big and small challenges with care and direct feedback. You will be part of the Communications team and report to a manager-level colleague who has the first-hand experience to guide you through your first INK position.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in PR or marketing, internships included
• Interest in technology and/or renewable energy
• Excellent writing skills, clear communicator
• Ability to organize and manage tasks and priorities on multiple clients
• Experience working on teams
• Desire to be coached and to learn and grow in a communications career
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and personal accountability
