Associate Consultant, Client Transitions

Summary

Under general supervision (but does work independently some of the time) responsible for facilitating asset transitions through coordination with prior/successor institutions, various operational teams (MF, Alts, Derivatives, VR/UVRS, NF, RE, Tax) and sometime with the client to onboard / distribute securities. The team also performs asset reconciliation, obtains and delivers tax cost and provides statues to the front office and VR/UVRS throughout the event and at times directly to client.

Major Duties

1. Facilitate activities required to validate documentation and transition assets.

2. Interact with internal partner groups, external parties or with the clients to provide resolution to client issues and requests.

3. Responsible for identifying and resolving more complex problems within established guidelines.

4. Carries out activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact

5. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management

6. Able to serve as a subject matter expert to other more junior level employees

7. More technically sound in area of expertise and may have a broader knowledge of other areas

8. Delivers a work product that requires less revision

9. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required preferred.

• Strong attention to detail as activities may have significant financial, client or business impact.

• Able to multitask with a focus on organization and time management. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required to present information/ideas in a clear and concise manner.

• In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required

• Highly flexible and adaptable to change

• Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required
