Job Description

Position Objective:

Design control and associated protective systems for generators and motors for commercial, industrial, and military applications.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Under direct supervision of more senior level Engineers:
  • Assist in design control systems which conform to functional specifications and detailed customer requirements. 
  • Communicates with Sales team to support custom quoting and answer customer inquiries
  • Review and identify critical components within industry standards and customer specific requirements with regard to machine control and protection, design, and LSNA manufacturing practices and capacity
  • Process incoming orders using a variety of tools and software packages
  • Participate in supporting applicable manufacturing and testing systems
  • Utilizes current ERP/PLM systems when processing orders

Experience/Skills:

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical power fundamentals and the ability to adapt readily to using customized LSNA design software
• Candidate must be a US citizen as Kato Engineering contracts through the US
• Department of Defense

Education:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar technical science field) required.
