Associate Coordinator

Eaton's Electrical Sector is currently seeking an Associate Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC location.

Position Overview:

This position is within EESS Strategic Programs supporting the Project Support team. The Project Support associate will assist the Project Support team completing tasks in support of EESS Strategic Programs project orders reporting to the Project Support Manager. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, logistics, administrative support, managing freight claims, procurement, invoicing customers and communicating with customers (verbally and written).

In this function you will:

• Interface with customers, suppliers, and transportation providers as required.
• Manage freight claims resolution, and work with shipping/receiving personnel to improve transportation performance.
• Coordinate CONUS and OCONUS shipments.
• Maintain effective communications by utilizing appropriate interpersonal skills within and outside the department to effectively accomplish department priority needs and issues.
• Support on ongoing process improvement projects.
• Support and assist all other Project Coordinators to complete daily task as needed.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skilled proficiency in the following:

• • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills (written and verbal communication).
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in creative problem solving, conflict resolution and managing priorities.
  • Basic Computer skills - Microsoft Office
  • Dependable and self-directed

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• No relocation is being offered for this position. Candidate must live within 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC to be considered.
• Must be able to work within the United States without corporate sponsorship now or within the future.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 0-2 years of experience in project coordination
