As a Copywriter at Appnovation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our clients' brand narratives across various digital platforms. Our client is a luxury fashion brand based out of APAC. You'll produce engaging content in Chinese that resonates with target audiences and drives measurable results. This role is based out of our client offices (5 days at client site)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for: 

• Create Compelling Microcopy: Write concise, clear, and elegant copy for app navigation, product descriptions, calls to action, error messages, and other user interface elements.
• Develop a Consistent Brand Voice: Ensure all written content reflects our brand's values of sophistication, luxury, and timeless elegance.
• Crafting impactful push notification and email marketing copy to drive user engagement and retention - Create fresh, on-brand greeting messages, announcements, and contextual copy to delight our members 
• Produce promotional copy for new product series/collections or app feature launches, including descriptions, call-to-actions, and supporting messaging 
• Collaborate with the product, design, and marketing teams to maintain a cohesive brand voice - Stay up-to-date on mobile app copywriting and user experience best practices 
• Continuously optimize content based on user feedback and performance metrics 
• User Testing and Feedback: Participate in user testing sessions, gather feedback, and refine the app's language based on user insights.
• Maintain Style Guides: Help develop and maintain writing guidelines to ensure consistency across the app.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a copywriter in a digital agency or similar environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse digital projects, ideally including mobile app, digital and promotional product content.
• Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to craft compelling, error-free copy with attention to detail, adapt style for different audiences, and maintain brand consistency. The ability to understand user psychology for mobile platforms. 
• Digital Savvy: Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven content optimisation. 
• Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates effectively, and contributes to a positive team dynamic.
• Creativity: Demonstrated ability to quickly ideate and execute on promotional content for new product launches.
• Proficiency in Cantonese  and English is a mandate

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

• Empathy: Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of our high-end clientele.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive problem-solving approach to address user pain points through written content.
• Cultural Fit: An appreciation for luxury brands and an understanding of our target audience's preferences.
