Job Description
Taylor is looking for an ambitious Associate Creative Director, Art to provide creative support for some of the world's leading brands.

Primary Responsibilities (The What)
Creative Thought Leadership
- Uses deep understanding of client’s business, brand, industry, and target consumers to develop integrated, multi-channel campaigns that meet client business needs and generate measurable results
- Remains current on marketing, design, technology, language, and cultural trends, and infuses this knowledge into all creative work
- Actively participates in the strategic account planning process, including reviewing past results and applying learnings
- Proactively partners with Account and Strategy teams to provide ongoing strategic and creative counsel to mid-level clients, including looking for opportunities to sell in incremental ideas
Communication & Storytelling
- Begins to demonstrate leadership presence through thoughtful, polished, persuasive communication across all mediums, internally and externally
- Listens well, building and maintaining relationships internally and externally through respect, responsiveness, and open dialogue
- Uses strong understanding of the agency's business model, structure, and offerings to bring forward new ideas for how Taylor can meet clients' business needs
- Effectively manages internal and client communications, including selling in creative ideas, setting appropriate expectations, and responding to questions or concerns
- Effectively leads meetings and delivers formal presentations (client and internal)
- Contributes positively to Taylor's brand presence by engaging in social channels, thought leadership pieces, case studies, and other content and communications
Concepting
- Leads creative ideation and planning for digital & social content, event activations, brand identity systems, print materials, and other campaign elements
- Proactively brings in and partners with others to ensure diversity of thought, integration, and collaboration across Taylor disciplines
- Helps others to refine ideas into fully integrated program concepts that drive business impact and deliver against defined objectives
- Leads multiple workstreams/programs simultaneously, ensuring that each team member understands their individual role expectations and how they fit together as part of the broader strategy
Execution / Making
- Provides oversight and ownership of all creative work for assigned projects, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams of account/PR, strategy, production, and analytics to develop creative that drives business impact
- Provides clear, objective critiques of creative/design work in progress, collaborating with junior team members to evolve and elevate their work
- Art Direction: Creates, and/or guides others to create, campaign look and feels, storyboards, comps, and other materials for presentations and final execution
- Copywriting:Â Writes, and/or guides others to write, creative platforms, manifestos, digital/social copy, and other copy for presentations and final execution
- Regularly attends shoots, events, edits, etc., actively collaborating with the team to ensure flawless execution
Business Acumen
- Completes timesheets accurately and in a timely manner, and ensures that junior team members do the same
- Begins to collaborate with account teams and creative leadership on the scoping, budgeting, and staff planning process for assigned projects
- Proactively flags and escalates any issues, collaborating with account teams and creative leadership to resolve issues accordingly
People Management
- Oversees the work of junior team members on specific client accounts and/or projects, delegating well and providing training, guidance, and feedback to ensure their work meets agency and client performance standards
- Gives appropriate recognition and actively works to motivate and inspire others
- Models diversity of thought, and recognizes others who do the same
- May serve as a primary/formal manager to one or more junior team members, providing ongoing coaching, performance management, and career development
- Escalates thorough performance feedback for direct reports up to senior leadership, championing strong performance and proactively addressing low performance
- Â Participates in interviewing and selecting junior talent for the agency
