Produce Alliance specializes in delivery of fresh produce to restaurants and other foodservice operators at higher quality and better prices. We provide fresh produce category management services including procurement, national distribution, information services, and food safety assurance to food service clients across North America, the Caribbean and beyond. Produce Alliance manages an alliance of 50+ independently owned specialty distributors of fresh products. Each distributor is carefully selected and commits to full compliance with our audited distribution, purchasing, and category management programs designed for client success. This position is remote or can be hybrid based out of one of our offices. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

As an Associate Customer Account Manager (CAM), you’ll assist with the day-to-day needs of our account management team and have the exciting opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business strategy, processes, needs, organization, economics, plans, and issues. You’ll work to understand the business needs of fresh produce management services and maintain a high degree of customer service. You will play an important role in developing relationships with customers and the distributors across key processes and functions!

Your impact:

  • Assist with all aspects of implementation of new accounts and current account management.
  • Support team with quality monitoring and works to resolve all issues
  • Request, tracks, and communicates store level needs with the appropriate distributor
  • Maintain daily communication with locations to build and maintain client relationships and ensure that all requests are met
  • Generate concept reports utilizing the internal proprietary data system
  • Assist with third party ordering platforms
  • Coordinate data and presentation materials
  • Maintain archive of general account documents
  • Develop a strong relationship with the Executive Customer Account Manager to allow for them to analyze & pull reporting, drive program compliance, and lead new business calls and existing business reviews

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools as well as internal systems
  • Attention to detail with a strong desire to deliver value added support to clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be flexible to assist with client needs outside normal business hours as needed
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
