Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, FL. As an Associate within the PWM group, create comprehensive wealth management plans for high-net-worth individuals and families predominantly based in Brazil, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. Formulate and express investment views for clients' portfolios, fielding questions in English and Portuguese on what is happening in the markets, and outlining the Firm's investment thesis for the future, which encompasses all global asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, option derivative securities, foreign currencies, hedge funds, real estate, private equity and bank lending. Work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies. Support existing client relationships, as well as source and develop new business opportunities and a strong network of intermediaries in the local Brazil market. Deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of the firm's US-based trading authorization and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Create asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations to clients. Work within a team in an apprenticeship model alongside tenured advisors while growing client base. Generate revenues that translate to commission payouts exceeding current base salary and bonus.

Job Requirements: Prior experience must include two (2) years with Master's Degree or five (5) years with Bachelor's Degree with the following: Wealth management matters for Brazilian clients; advising Brazilian clients regarding global financial markets and their instruments, including derivatives, equities, and financial institutions; advising Brazilian clients regarding on and offshore tax and estate planning techniques needed in Brazil and other parts of LatAm, including investment structures; building models in Excel for clients in financial industry; analyzing and preparing client reports in PowerPoint to be used for financial planning; identifying prospective clients in local Brazilian market; estate planning, trust structuring, asset allocation, portfolio oversight, selection of portfolio managers and investment vehicles; and working closely with clients through their lifecycle, developing long-term relationships and structuring holistic wealth management plans. FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66 and 3. Will accept Series 63 in place of 66. Must be obtained within 3-6 months of hire. Travel to Brazil is required 30% of the time to build relationships with clients. Fluency in Portuguese is required to communicate with Brazilian clients.
