The Associate Data Engineer is responsible for contributing to solution delivery for their assigned product by working under the guidance of experienced members of the engineering team and engineering leadership. This role will observe and react to failures and quality issues, and run basic database queries.

Responsibilities

• Develops data integration solutions, test, with guidance from senior staff members
• Participates in team agile ceremonies
• Builds skills and knowledge of data ingestion framework and delivery; familiarizes self with data warehouse, Cloud, agile, and other technologies involved in data integration
• Demonstrates and applies basic knowledge of:
  • RDBMS Concepts
  • Data Integration Concepts and Tools
  • DW Design Concepts
  • Data Profiling Concepts
  • Data Security Concepts
  • Data Quality Concepts
• Performs unit tests of own code, executes test cases provided in the requirements
• Exhibits a continuous learning mindset

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship in relevant field
• Basic SQL
• Programming background
• Exposure to DevOps CI/CD framework, Open-Source concepts
