Role Purpose/Essence:

As a Data Analyst on the Advanced Analytics team, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, architects, and analysts on a wide rangeof businessand technical problems.

Responsibilities
  • Support the advanced analytics team throughout the lifecycle of data science projects
  • Partner with business stakeholders and data scientists for understanding the business problem statement, project scope and tangible outcomes
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers and architects/SMEs to identify, explore and build data sources on data science projects
  • Create visualizations, demos, and content for effectively communicating technical outcomes to business stakeholders
  • Work in an agile team setting - plan, prioritize, design, test and coordinate end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics solutions
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as needed by the team


Requirements
  • 2 + years of data analyst, data engineer, or data wrangling experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Proficient with SQL and databases
  • Strong knowledge of reporting & visualization tools/technologies (Tableau/Power BI)
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity, evolving priorities and team-oriented dynamic environment
  • Be self-directed and self-motivated
  • Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills


Preferred
  • Basic understanding of data science and machine learning concepts
  • Working knowledge of python or R for data analysis
  • Experience with Oracle technologies
