Position Summary:

The Associate Data Migration Specialist is primarily responsible for manually migrating data into the Brady LINK360 Safety Software with Lockout/Tagout document management. Under the supervision of the project manager, determines the best method of transforming existing data into a format that is logically structured in the new LINK360 environment. This includes ensuring that data quality, integrity and completeness are maintained.

Position Reports to: Software Operations Manager

Position Duties Responsibilities:

• Manually migrates documents from Excel, MS Word, or PDF into LINK360.
• Uses PowerShell tools to execute automated migration tasks.
• Performs any necessary re-works.
• Documents work hours for each step of the migration process to ensure accurate costing.
• Performs other tasks as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the duties listed on this job description

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Base knowledge of working with Excel, PDF, and Word documents to extract/copy data.
• Highly detailed and organized.
• Experience using web-based software.
• Ability to perform repetitious work while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to learn and understand basic information regarding lockout/tagout practices and procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills suited for technical audiences and customer end users.
• Effective at planning and managing own workload and completing projects in defined timelines.
• Effective at contributing towards the objectives of the software services team and being able to share knowledge, experience, ideas, and information.
• Effective at solving problems in a creative way. Proactive in identifying and assisting in resolving issues encountered during migration projects.
