Associate Decision Scientist, Marketing Analytics
Job Description
Are you looking to play an integral role in building something bigger? Ibotta is seeking an Associate Decision Scientist, Marketing Analytics to join our analytics team and this opportunity will provide just that. You will help the Marketing team make data-driven decisions to drive customers to Ibotta and retain them through innovative, personalized incentives and communication strategies. You will also be on the forefront of development of B2B attribution and performance measurement tools and methodologies
As an Associate Decision Scientist, you will be responsible for using the latest developments in statistics, customer segmentation, and A/B testing methodologies to understand the business in-depth, support strategic options, build state-of-the-art tools, and improve our future marketing interactions with customers.
 Here is what you’ll be doing:
Working cross-functionally with the Marketing team to analyze personalization and incentives, in order to uncover key, actionable insights about Ibotta users behavior and iteratively improve marketing performance
Running statistical analysis and create models based on user characteristics and behavior
Designing and measuring controlled experiments to determine the potential impact of new approaches
Understanding and reporting business performance in detail and identifying opportunities for improving the targeted and personalized approach to marketing to Ibotta’s user base.
Here is what we’re looking for (required):
1+ years of relevant work experience, with the ability to start immediately upon offer
An understanding of the key concepts of consumer behavior and/or B2B client
Strong SQL knowledge, data wrangling, and analytical skills
Experience using Python for data analysis
Ability to think creatively and provide thoughtful insights
Ability to develop, automate, visualize, analyze, and communicate learnings
Ability to work collaboratively throughout an organization to drive towards common goals
Bachelor’s degree in analytics/mathematics/statistics/data science/computer science/economics, engineering or equivalent experience
Here is what we’re looking for (preferred):
Experience using other modern data analysis tools (such as R or Spark)
Knowledge of A/B testing concepts
Practical work experience in marketing analytics in a consumer-facing or B2B industry

Additional Details:
This position is located in Denver, CO or with the option of full-time remote and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Candidates must live in the United States.
Base compensation range: $60,000 to $80,000.
