Credit Karma is looking for an Associate Designer to join our in-house team of creatives. A successful candidate will be passionate about design, and must move from one task to another quickly. You'll work collaboratively with Copy, Strategy and Marketing partners to generate ideas and create marketing campaigns for a variety of digital channels, including email, web, social, display and video.
As an Associate Designer, you will join a cohort of other recent graduates - together you will learn all of the skills needed for a successful career in marketing and creative production. You will have areas of ownership from day one, with self-guided projects coupled with instruction delivered by senior members on the team covering foundational concepts. Our team will ensure your success by creating a fun learning environment that is led by industry experts and reinforced by shadowing programs, personalized reviews, and feedback until you are ready to fly.
NOTE: Associate Designers will be hired for our Charlotte office.Â
What you’ll do:Â
- You will use our brand guidelines to conceptualize strong ideas and design innovative and engaging digital marketing
- You will ensure creative work is on brief, on brand and has an intuitive user experience
- You will collaborate with cross functional teams to share and present ideas, discuss creative work and make thoughtful recommendations
- You will handle and prioritize multiple projects from concept to completion
- You will stay plugged in to trends, learnings and best practices and incorporate findings into your work

Minimum Basic Requirements:
- A robust, diverse design portfolio demonstrating conceptual ideas and marketing solutions
- Strong practice of graphic design principles and knowledge of current design trends
- Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.A. / B.S. degree in Graphic Design or Illustration
