Our company is looking for a junior Software Developer to join our CDPHP team. The focus of this role will be to learn the codebase, attend design meetings, write basic code, fix bugs and assist the development team in all design related tasks. This position will collaborate with Senior Developers to learn, streamline, and present new inventive ideas for CDPHP applications.

As a junior Software Developer you will support maintenance of CDPHP's applications throughout the lifecycle, including but not limited to, applications that support Sales Quoting, Enrollment, and Eligibility business processes. A main responsibility of this role is to contribute to the development, testing, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of all business applications, software and custom code that support the platform using technologies such as; NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML 5/JavaScript/CSS, JSON and RESTful web services. In this role you will collaborate with various levels in the organization to; define and analyze detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and present solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree required. Degree in Computer Science or a business discipline is preferred. Two (2) years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
• Must have knowledge of web technologies, web services (SOAP or RESTful), and Service Oriented Architecture.
• One of more hands-on technical experience with the following is required: C#, ASP .net, MVC, HTML, CSS, JSON, WCF, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience with Modelling and development tools preferred.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle is required.
• Experience working in agile environment a plus.
• Superior demonstrable problem solving skills is required.
• Ability to independently define problems and develop solutions is required.
• Adaptability to changing work priorities and a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional attitude is required.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with technical and non-technical peers.
• Ability to maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with people both internally and externally as it relates to the operations and business of CDPHP is required.
• Requires the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Annual salary range: $78,000 - $93,000

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
