Job Description
Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking an Associate, Development Operations & Gifts Processing. The Development Operations & Gifts Processing Associate will effectively coordinate activities, assist development staff, lead data entry projects, and follow up with a customer service mindset that enables fundraisers to focus on securing gifts. This will require CRM and Gift Processing experience. The Development Operations & Gifts Processing Associate will be responsible for all aspects of the Development Operations including gift processing, creating opportunities, and transactions in our CRM/DMS, and be the main point of contact for any gift or data processing issue.
Every day will be a challenge, but every month brings new opportunities for an organization that is quickly becoming a household name in disaster response. This position reports to TR’s Manager, Development Operations CRM and is based out of TR’s National Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.
Duties:
- Act as the DevOps lead for all data entry and ongoing maintenance of donor records in the fundraising platforms & CRM.
- Liaise with frontline fundraising team and assist with opportunity, contact, and account entry.
- Work with finance team on monthly reconciliation and close.
- Assist the DevOps CRM Manager with data cleanup projects and other projects relating to cleanliness of organization database.
- Work with the DevOps CRM Manager and develop project plans for data cleanup.
- Troubleshoot data entry issues.
- Manage the Development phone line and distribution lists, responding to email inquiries in a timely manner.
- Gather and disseminate critical information to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Document current and new processes related to your role and provide recommendations for process refinement.
Experience and Background:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of non-profit administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/365
- Experience in database management or data entry preferred
- Ability to work with high-level donors, cross-departmentally, and with remote employees that may be difficult to reach at times
- Adept at handling confidential donor information
Special Requirements:
- This is a full time; in-office and is based out of Los Angeles, CA and provides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule (relocation expenses not provided).

- $23.83 - $35.74 per hour
