This is your chance at a full-time permanent role at Critical Mass. During your initial 12-weeks, you will embark on a custom-built learning journey to understand what we do, who we are, and how we make award-winning work with our clients. You will attend exclusive skill-building sessions spanning professional development, leadership, innovation, and diversity & inclusion. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to attend offsite socials, masterclass workshops, and guest speaker events with the rest of your Trailhead cohort.

Our Winter 2023 Trailhead Cohort commences January 16, 2023.

The junior dev ops engineer will provide opportunities to participate in and learn more about DevOps best practices and standards, technical design, and troubleshooting, required to deliver world-class web sites for world-class brands. You’ll work as a member of the project team that designs, implements, deploys, and maintains sites for some of the largest and most recognizable brands in the world.

You Will:

• Assist with implementation of project architecture, standards and processes
• Participate in implementation, testing and deployment of new sites
• Participate in ongoing maintenance activities
• Assist with client work with the account and project teams
• Assist in live debugging of the sites
• Attend regular project technical team meetings
• Assist with development of project automation
• Create and maintain project documentation, in accordance with established standards

You Have:

• Background in computer science, engineering or software development or related experience.
• Familiarity with Linux or other Unix-like operating systems
• Some experience with Java, SQL, JavaScript, and Python or Shell programming
• Ability to work independently and to exercise strong technical judgment
• Experience with or awareness of version control systems and web servers
• Interest in learning new technologies
• Strong customer focus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-services environment
